Dorset Police are trying to identify a man as part of an investigation into an attempted robbery in Bournemouth.
The force say a man was threatened with a knife by two unknown men on Holdenhurst Road on Friday 21 November between 7pm and 7:30pm.
The men reportedly demanded the victim had over his money and bank cards, before punching and kicking him.
No serious injuries were reported and the victim did not hand over any items.
Officers have now released a photo of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation.
Police Constable Joshua Pickering, of Dorset Police, said: “This must have been a terrifying ordeal for the victim and we have been exploring all lines of enquiry to identify those involved.
“We are now in a position to share an image of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation. I appreciate it is not the clearest view of his face, but I am hopeful someone may still recognise him and I would urge anyone with information relating to his identity to please make contact with us.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone with information that could assist our enquiries.”
