Police in Dorset issue public appeal in search for missing woman
Rebecca McDermott, aged 36, was last seen at an address in Charlton Down.
Officers searching for a missing woman in the Dorchester area are appealing for information from the public to help find her.
Rebecca McDermott, aged 36, was last seen at an address in Charlton Down at around 12.30am on Sunday 17 July 2022.
She is described as five feet two inches tall, of larger build and with dark purple hair. She was believed to be wearing green trousers.
Inspector Mark Holmes, of Dorset Police, said:
“We are concerned for Rebecca’s welfare, and we are keen to locate her as soon as possible to make sure she is all right.
“We are carrying out searches in the area and I would urge anyone with information as to Rebecca’s whereabouts, or who sees a woman matching the description given, to please contact us.
“I would also like to make a direct plea to Rebecca if she sees this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are, as we all just want to make sure you are OK.”
