Police evacuate Dorset business park
A suspicious package was identified at Sunrise Business Park near Blandford Forum on Monday morning
The business park was evacuated by Dorset Police and a cordon was put in place while officers investigated the contents of the package.
A spokesperson for the county force said: "Dorset Police received a report at 7.59am on Monday 26 June 2023 of a suspicious package that had been located at a building at the Sunrise Business Park in Blandford.
Officers evacuated buildings at the business park and put a cordon in place as a precaution as enquiries were conducted to establish the contents of the package. Road closures were also put in place.
Following enquiries, officers have confirmed that the contents is not believed to be hazardous and the road closures were lifted at around 10.30am.
