Police appeal after collision near Blandford

Officers investigating a single-vehicle collision near Blandford are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The incident, involving a blue Ford Fiesta, happened at around 11.40pm on Monday 27 October 2025 just outside Winterborne Stickland.

No serious injuries were reported.

Police attended and a 38-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Investigations Officer Sam Sheppard, of the Dorset County Volume Crime Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or the manner of driving leading up to it to please contact police.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage as this could assist with our enquiries.”
