A plane had to make an emergency landing at Bournemouth Airport last night.

One of its engines was out.

Fire crews were put on standby.

Luckily the aircraft landed safely and no one was injured.

A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said:

"Our crews from Christchurch and Springbourne went to the airport to standby in case the Airport Fire Service required further assistance.

"Luckily, the aircraft landed safely with no one being injured and our crews were only required to collect details."
