Person dies before football match in Dorset
There was a medical emergency before Sturminster Marshall played Wareham Rangers FC
The Dorset Premier League are sending their condolences to Wareham Rangers FC.
There was a medical emergency before their game with Sturminster Marshall on Saturday (5 November).
The person sadly died.
In a statement on their website the Dorset Premier League said:
"It is with the deepest sadness to report, that following a medical emergency before the Sturminster Marshall FC v Wareham Rangers FC League game, and despite the very best efforts of the Paramedics and other medical persons who attended the incident, the individual concerned has sadly passed away.
"Our thoughts are with the family, friends and all connected with Wareham Rangers FC. The family have requested their privacy be respected at this very difficult time."
Wareham Rangers FC tweeted to thank everyone for their condolences and kind words.
