Pedestrian knocked down by car in Weymouth
The accident happened in Abbotsbury Road
A pedestrian has been knocked down by a car in Weymouth.
The accident happened just before 6pm in Abbotsbury Road on Saturday evening.
The road was closed for around half an hour.
Dorset Police say it's unclear what injuries the person sustained.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"Dorset Police received a report at 5.57pm on Saturday 5 February 2022 of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Abbotsbury Road in Weymouth. Officers attended with the ambulance service. The road was closed while emergency services attended the incident. It reopened at around 6.35pm."
