More painting at Custom House Quay - but the green is still there
Controversy erupted last week after half the pavement was painted a 'migraine inducing' green colour.
Pavement at Custom House Quay has been painted a sandy yellow colour after another section was pained a 'migraine inducing' green last week.
So controversial was the hue that it made it onto the popular television show 'Have I Got News For You?' as a talking point.
Now workers have painted the other side a sandy yellow and Dorset Council is indicating the green colour will be replaced soon with the same yellow.
That may take some time due to a paint supply issue. Dorset Council says the delay will last a few weeks.
The footways being painted today are behind the guesthouses at the Pavilion end of the quay.
