Three new pharmacy-led vaccine sites are opening in and around Dorset for the second phase of the roll out.

People between 18 and 39 will be jabbed as part of it, which is going to be supported by a number of community pharmacies.

They will be joining 20 other sites across the county that started delivering the jabs in December 2020.

Appointments at the following new pharmacy sites can be made via the national booking system for people who are eligible:

  • Pharmacy2U, High West St, Dorchester, DT11UW
  • Colehill Pharmacy, Middlehill Road, Wimborne, BH21 2SE
  • Ashley Heath Pharmacy, High St, Ashley Heath, BH242HP

If you are eligible but are not able to book through the national booking service, you can speak to your GP.

On Tuesday (8th June) it will be six months since the first COVID-19 vaccination was given in Dorset.

Since then over 872,000 doses have been delivered.

Public Health Dorset are reminding us to come back for our second vaccine. It is needed to boost immunity to the level needed for best protection against COVID-19.

You can find a full list of vaccination sites including, GP and led Pharmacy here.
