A team of 20 women from New Hall Hospital in Salisbury have raised over £3,000 for the Salisbury Hospice, by pulling a Boeing 737 a distance of 50 metres.

Holly's Angels, named after the team's late colleague Holly Beckley, pulled the 35,000kg aeroplane as part of the Dorset Plane Pull 2021.

In their words: 'Holly was unique, amazing funny, vibrant and above all else STRONG and never gave up just like we won't'.

The charity aims to raise over £1.5 million every year to maintain their specialist palliative care services at the hospice, where at any one time there is up to 180 patients.
