New born baby saved from a car in Dorchester

A Bridport fire crew were called to rescue a 16 day old baby from a car in Dorchester this afternoon.

The new born was locked inside the car.

On scene crews met with the mother and owner of the car and found a baby girl asleep in the car with the car keys blissfully unaware of any issues.

For their third call out of the day, the crew used specialist tools to access the car and after a quick welfare check for mum and baby, crews returned back to home station.
