What's being filmed at Dorchester Prison? That's the question lots of residents have been asking this week.

A letter sent to residents of North Square in Dorchester has unveiled the project film crews are working on at the Prison as 'Street Dogs'.

If you've never heard of it, you can't be blamed. It's most likely because it's a 'working title' believed to be synonymous with the second instalment of Netflix's Enola Holmes franchise, according to film industry website Production Weekly.

This has yet to be confirmed by Netlfix.

Workmen have been seen in and around the building, most notably doing something on the roof via a crane.

The letter, sent to residents and businesses reads:

"You may have noticed som increased activity at Dorchester Prison over the past weeks. We are working at the prison to prepare for our film production, currently titled 'Street Dogs'.

"All filming is contained within the grounds and interior of the Prison, although, there will be increased vehicle movements and activity whilst we are working on site."

Enola Holmes stars Millie Bobby Brown, best known for her role in Stranger Things, reprises her role in the second film meaning she may be spotted in the county soon.

Very few details are currently known about the project.

It's thought hundreds of extras are being brought on as part of the filming, which it's believed will begin next week.
