Mountain bike stolen in Bournemouth burglary
Thieves broke into a garage, early on Sunday (11th February)
A mountain bike's been stolen from a garage in Bournemouth, with police asking witnesses to come forward.
Thieves broke into a garage on Heather Close at around 1.20am on Sunday (11th February).
The victim was woken up by noises outside and saw the incident taking place, disturbing the offenders.
A silver chrome Giant Reign 2 downhill mountain bike was stolen - it has red grips on the handle bars, as well as red pedals.
There's now an appeal for witnesses to get in touch with officers.
PC Tom Rose, of Bournemouth police, said:
“I am carrying out enquiries into this incident to identify the offenders.
“If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the relevant time, please contact Dorset Police.
“I have obtained an image of the offenders that shows them wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered. I am releasing this in the hope it may jog someone’s memory of the incident.
“Also, I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a bike matching the description for sale in unusual circumstances.”
