Motorhome stolen from Weymouth recovered in Somerset

The vehicle, taken from Littlemoor Road, has been found and returned

A motorhome, stolen from outside a property in Weymouth, has been found in another seaside resort.

The vehicle was taken from Littlemoor Road on Monday night (5th August), with a police appeal to trace it.

It's since been found in Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset.

There's an ongoing investigation to locate any suspects in the theft.

PC Sebastian Haggett, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said:

“I am grateful to members of the public and officers from Avon & Somerset Police for their assistance in recovering the vehicle. Our investigation continues to locate the offenders. We will continue to work with neighbouring forces to tackle those who target our communities.”
