Motorcyclist suffers foot injury in Christchurch crash

The rider collided with a BMW on Lymington Road

A motorcyclist has suffered an injury to his foot following a crash in Christchurch.

A red Honda bike was involved in a collision with a black BMW 5-Series on Lymington Road, near the Rothesay Drive junction, at around 2.00pm on Sunday 21st July.

The rider, in his 60s, needed hospital treatment for his injuries.

There's now an appeal for witnesses.

PC Sorrel Gilbert, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are continuing to conduct enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
