Two motocross bikes have been stolen from a shed in Poole, with police releasing images of one of the vehicles.

They were taken from King John Avenue at around 1.45am on Tuesday last week (3rd October).

It's believed two men broke doors and locks to a shed to steal the bikes.

One of the bikes has since been recovered by police, but another - a Kawasaki 65cc KX250 - is still missing.

PC George Miller, of Dorset Police, said:

“We have been carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would urge anyone with information relating to who might be responsible to please contact us.

“It is believed the offenders may have driven the stolen bike around roads in the surrounding area following the incident and I would urge anyone who witnessed this or captured anything relevant on dashcam footage to please get in touch.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has come across a bike matching the description in the image being offered for sale locally or online in unusual circumstances.”

If you can help with any information you're asked to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting reference number 55230156657.
