Police searching for a missing woman from Weymouth have confirmed she's now been found

Officers searching for missing Weymouth woman April Hopkins have confirmed to Greatest Hits Radio Dorset she has been found safe.

April was reported missing having last been seen at her home address at around 11am on Thursday (26 August).

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:

" Following searches by officers, she has now been located.

" We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal."
