Man and woman punched in the face by unknown man in Bournemouth

The incident happened following a disagreement

A man and woman have been hit in the face during an assault in Bournemouth town centre.

Dorset Police were called to Westover Road at around 2pm on Saturday (25 February) in response to reports a man and woman had been punched in face by an unknown man following a disagreement.

Description

The suspect is described as white, aged between 40 and 50 years old, six feet tall and of large build with short brown hair.

He was said to be wearing a brown jacket, blue top and brown shoes.

Police appeal

Police Constable Jack Honnywill, of Bournemouth police, said: “Enquiries into this incident remain ongoing, including CCTV searches of the nearby area. This incident happened at a busy time in the town and I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened, or knows the identity of the suspect, to please contact Dorset Police.”
