Man threatened with broken bottle at Weymouth Train Station

Police were called there on Monday afternoon

A man's been threatened with a broken bottle at Weymouth Train Station.

Police were called to the incident which happened at around 5.40pm on Monday afternoon. (25 January)

One man was arrested.

He's already appeared in court and pleaded guilty to two offences.

A spokesman for Weymouth & Portland Police said:

"The same male had been in court a few hours beforehand where he been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order which banned him from the railway station.

"Officers attended the railway station and arrested the male. He was charged with 2 offences and appeared before the court today.

"The male pleaded guilty and will be sentenced at a later date."
