Man seriously hurt in Poole car crash

A man's suffered serious injuries in a single vehicle crash in Poole.

It happened at around 9.15am yesterday (Wednesday 9th August) on Herbert Avenue, at the junction with St Aldhelm's Academy.

The victim, in his 60s, was driving a silver Citroen C5, and was taken to hospital after the crash.

PC Steve Eastwood, of the Roads Policing Team, said:

“We are conducting enquires to find out what happened and I am appealing to any witnesses to please come forward.

“I am keen to speak to motorists who were travelling along Herbert Avenue and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
