Man rescued from Chesil Cove after falling from sea wall
Coastguards helped him with a suspected spinal injury
A man's been rescued from Chesil Cove, after suffering a suspected spinal injury.
Portland Bill's coastguard team were called out at around 9.45pm last night (Monday 17th April), to reports of someone falling from the sea wall.
They assessed the casualty, with help from South Western Ambulance paramedics.
The man was carried on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance and taken to Dorset County Hospital.
In a social media post, the Portland Bill CRT said:
"We wish the gentleman all the best in his recovery."
