Man punched in face during robbery in Bournemouth town centre

His watch was stolen during the attack

A man has but hit in the face during a robbery in Bournemouth town centre.

At around 6.10am on Sunday (11 June) the victim, a man aged in his 20s, was outside Camel bar in Old Christchurch Road when he was approached by another man, who punched him to the face, grabbed his arm and then stole his watch.

Description

The offender is described as wearing a black hooded top and black jogging bottoms and had black curly hair.

The victim sustained an injury to his nose but did not require hospital treatment.

Police Constable Grace Butler, of Dorset Police, said: “We are exploring a number of lines of enquiry as we investigate this robbery, and I am appealing to any witnesses who may be able to assist our investigation to please come forward.

“I would also like to hear from any motorists who were in the area and may have captured anything relevant on dashcam footage.”
