Man loses tooth in assault close to Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium

A man from Leicestershire's been arrested in connection with the incident

A man's lost a tooth in an assault close to Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium.

Police were told of an altercation in Kings Park at around 7.30pm on Tuesday 27th February, just as an FA Cup match between AFC Bournemouth and Leicester City was kicking off.

The victim, aged 18 and from Leicestershire, suffered facial injuries.

A 36 year old man, also from Leicestershire, has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning ABH and since been bailed.

PC Sam Robinson, of Bournemouth police, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this reported assault and I would like to hear from any football fans, or anyone else who was in the area, who witnessed what happened.”
