Motorcyclist injured in fail-to-stop crash near Bridport

Police are appealing for dash-cam footage

A motorcyclist has been injured in a fail to stop collision near Bridport.

Dorset Police received a report at 5:05 pm yesterday (Thursday 17 March) of a collision involving a car and a Lexmoto Hawk motorbike on Mutton Street in Marshwood.

The car – described as possibly a blue Mini – failed to stop at the scene.

The motorcyclist – a man aged in his 20s from Devon – sustained injuries that required medical treatment.

Police Constable Paul Miners, of West Dorset police, said:

“Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

“I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened.

“I would also like to speak to any motorists who were travelling along Mutton Street and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
