Man found dead in the grounds of Sherborne Hospital

A man has been found dead in the grounds of a hospital in Sherborne.

Emergency services were alerted but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was found unresponsive in the grounds of the Yeatman Hospital in yesterday, just before 2pm.

The death is currently being treated as non-suspicious.

Sherbourne Police stated it is believed no-one else was involved in the man’s death.

"The man has been identified and his next of kin have been notified. The death is currently being treated as non-suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. It is believed that no-one else was involved in the man’s death."
