A man is to appear before magistrates later this month after a crash in East Dorset.

The incident happened in East Dorset back on August 5th, 2024.

Dorset Police said: "At around 9.30pm on Monday 5 August 2024, Dorset Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Wimborne Road East near Ferndown.

"It was reported that a black Audi A1 failed to stop for officers in the area of the Canford Bottom Roundabout, before it made off towards Stapehill and collided with a blue Vauxhall Zafira near the Pure Drop pub.

"Three people were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

"Following enquiries by the Serious Collision Investigation Team, a 21-year-old man from East Dorset has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 25 April 2025 for an offence of causing serious injury by dangerous driving."
