Man due in court after driver seriously injured in crash near East Knighton

A man's due to appear in court after an accident near East Knighton which left a man in his 50's with serious injuries.

Dorset Police received a report at 6.11pm on Thursday 23 December 2021 of a collision on the A352 near East Knighton involving a white Renault Trafic van and a blue Ford Ranger.

The driver of the Ford, a man aged in his 50s, was taken by air ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment to serious injuries.

Following an investigation by the traffic unit, a 34-year-old man from Bournemouth has been asked to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court next Tuesday (14 June) for an offence of driving without due care and attention.
