Man comes forward to police following Dorchester fail-to-stop crash

A man's come forward after a pensioner was injured in a fail-to-stop collision in Dorchester.

A woman in her 80s was taken to hospital with serious injuries, following the incident on Bridport Road, near the junction for Williams Avenue, at around 6.00pm on Monday (11th November).

The car involved has been described as a dark blue hatchback, which made off in the direction of Poundbury afterwards.

Police say a man's assisting police with their enquiries following an appeal for information.

No arrests have been made though.
