A man has come forward following an image appeal in relation to a reported dog bite incident in Weymouth.

The incident happened at around 11.30am on Saturday 9 October 2021 in a field from Littlemoor toward Bincombe.

It is reported that the victim – a local man aged in his 60s – was walking with his wife and their two dogs when a Husky, which is believed to be crossed with an Akita, rushed up behind them and approached one of their dogs, before mounting it.
