Man charged after Weymouth motorcyclist seriously injured

A man's been charged with driving without due care and attention after an accident which left a motorcyclist from Weymouth seriously injured.

The crash happened on the 14th September last year (2020) on the A35 at Lytchett Matravers near the Axim Centre.

A car was involved in a collision with a motorbike.

The rider of the motorcycle - a 28-year-old man from Weymouth - sustained very serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged from hospital and is continuing his recovery at home.

A 46-year-old man from Poole's due to appear in court next week.
