Man charged after person seen with metal pole on Weymouth's Rodwell Trail
A 46 year old is due to appear in court later this month
A Weymouth man has been charged in connection with an affray incident on the Rodwell Trail.
Police were called out on the morning of Friday 16th June last year, after reports of a man allegedly carrying a large metal pole.
They were also reported to have threatened a person in a small car, at the junction with Old Castle Road.
A 46 year old local man was arrested at the time - and has now been charged with affray and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He's due to appear before Weymouth Magistrates on Wednesday 31st January.
