Man charged in connection with collision in East Dorset

A man has been charged in connection with a road traffic collision in East Dorset.

Rabiah Al Hadi, aged 31 and from Bournemouth, has been charged with driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road / in a public place without due care and attention and failure to provide specimen for analysis.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "The collision was reported at 11.23am on Friday 28 February 2025 and involved a grey Hyundai Bayon and a blue Audi A1 on the A31 at St Leonards.

"The driver of the Hyundai – a 31-year-old man from Bournemouth – was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

"Following enquiries by officers, he has been charged with driving without due care and attention and failure to provide specimen for analysis.

"He has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 26 September 2025."
