Man charged in connection with fatal East Dorset crash

A man's due to appear in court next week, charged in connection with fatal car crash in East Dorset.

The collision happened in September 2023, on Hurn Road between Ringwood and Matchams.

A blue BMW left the carriageway and suffered extensive damage.

1\8 year old Laionie Kennard from Verwood was a passenger in the vehicle and died at the scene.

Now, a 20 year old man from Wiltshire has been charged with causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.

He's expected to appear before Poole Magistrates Court on Friday 20th December.
