Man charged after car stolen during Boscombe burglary

The vehicle was later recovered less than a mile away from the scene

A car's been stolen following a house burglary in Bournemouth, with cash and other items also taken.

Entry was gained to a property on Portman Road in Boscombe between 5.00 and 6.00am on Friday 23rd June.

The victim's car, a white Hyundai Tucson, was also taken - and later recovered on Windham Road, less than a mile away from the scene later that day.

Dorset Police tell us a 32 year old man from Bournemouth has been charged with burglary.

He's appeared before Poole Magistrates Court (Saturday 1st July).

He's been remanded in custody until his next appearance at Bournemouth Crown Court on 27th July.
