Man charged after alleged attack with a 'large rock' on Portland

A man's been charged after an attack on Portland where its reported two men were assaulted.

The incident happened in Fortuneswell on Sunday 9 August last year at around 1.30am.

One of the victim's was reportedly hit in the face with a large rock, and knocked unconscious after his head was stamped on.

A 21-year-old man from Portland was arrested.

He's due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates' Court next week for an offence of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
