A man's been banned from parts of Weymouth Town Centre and the seafront.

49-year-old Stephen Robert Carter has been given a Criminal Behaviour Order.

Its due to him carrying out repeated anti-social behaviour in the town.

The Neighbourhood Team worked in partnership with the Dorset Council Community Safety Team and used information that was provided by the public

A spokesman for Weymouth & Portland Police said:

"This is a positive step in reducing ASB and linked criminal offences in the town and underlines the importance of members of the public continuing to report issues to us.

"The team will continue our efforts to reduce ASB in Weymouth by working with the community and our partners."
