Man attacked with hockey stick in Dorchester assault

The victim suffered a leg injury in the incident at Kings Road park

A man's been attacked with a hockey stick during an assault in Dorchester.

The victim, in his 30s, was approached by an unknown man in the park at Kings Road, at around 10.15am on the Sunday before last (2nd June).

He suffered a leg injury in the assault, and had his phone thrown into some bushes nearby.

A suspect is described as:

  • White
  • Aged around 40 years old
  • Short brown hair
  • Short brown beard
  • Wearing shorts and T-shirt

PC Glen Caddy, of Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:

“It is believed there may have been other people in the park at the time and I would ask anyone who saw what happened to please get in touch.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have information to help us identify the offender.”
