Man has tooth knocked out in Weymouth pub assault
Police have shared a CCTV image of a man they want to trace
A man's lost a front tooth and suffered injuries to his lip in an assault in a Weymouth pub.
Police were called to the William Henry Wetherspoons in Frederick Place just before 10.30pm on Monday last week (9th December).
A man was punched in the face by another man who was unknown to the victim.
He was also assaulted with a glass by a third man.
A 24 year old male from Shaftesbury has been arrested on suspicion of assault, and bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers have shared a CCTV image of a man they're looking to trace.
PC Lloyd Bleese, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing our enquiries into this incident and as part of our investigation we have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to please get in touch with us.”
