Man arrested in connection with Poole Christmas Eve crash

A man has been arrested in connection with a serious injury collision in Poole on Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24th December).

A Skoda Octavia and a bus were involved in a crash just before 8.10pm on Wallisdown Road, near the Mountbatten roundabout.

The male driver of the Skoda and his female passenger, both in their 30s, sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Two passengers from the bus were also treated for minor injuries.

A man aged in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and released under investigation.

There's an ongoing appeal for any witnesses to contact police, if they haven't already spoken to officers.
