Man arrested and drugs seized in Bridport raids

A man's been arrested and suspected Class A drugs seized in a series of warrants in Bridport.

Police raided three addresses in the North Allington area at around 9.00am yesterday (Monday 8th July).

A 41 year old local man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences at one of the searches.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Mike Brown, of Bridport police, said:

“We are continuing to execute these warrants across the town as part of our bid to relentlessly pursue those who are suspected of dealing drugs.

“We would urge members of the public to report any suspected drug-related activity to us as we look to build an intelligence picture of what is going on in the area.
