Man arrested on suspicion of drug supply in Bournemouth

A man's been arrested in Bournemouth, after police out on patrol spotted what they suspected to be drug dealing from a car.

Officers spotted some suspicious activity on Windham Road in Boscombe at around 11.05pm on Saturday night (7th January).

They searched a vehicle and found several zip-lock bags containing what's thought to be Class A drugs, along with cash and two mobile phones.

Further cash was also seized following a search of an address in Bournemouth.

A 31 year old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs, with intent to supply.

He's been released under investigation.

“Under Operation Viper, we have been working relentlessly to disrupt the activities of those suspected of being involved in the supply of class A drugs in our communities.

“Our Neighbourhood Enforcement Teams support local officers by conducting targeted patrols, based on the latest intelligence picture and information received from the public.
