Man arrested in connection with Bournemouth recycling centre thefts

It follows a CCTV appeal by Dorset Police

A man's been arrested by Dorset Police investigating a series of burglaries at a recycling centre in Bournemouth.

Ringwood Road Recycling Centre, Bournemouth

The Ringwood Road facility was broken into three times over four days in August (Saturday 13th to Tuesday 16th).

20 alloy wheels and more than 60 car batteries were stolen.

Following a CCTV appeal, a 30 year old from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage.

He's since been released pending further enquiries.
