Man arrested following affray outside Weymouth pub

A man's been arrested on suspicion of affray following an incident outside a Weymouth pub.

Dorset Police were called to the John Gregory on Radipole Lane at around 6.45pm on Tuesday (23rd May).

It's believed a man was shouting threats towards members of the public.

A 40 year old man has been arrested and since bailed while police enquiries continue.

PC Harry Chaplin, of Weymouth police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please get in touch.

“If you were travelling in the area and have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle, please check your footage for anything that may assist our investigation.”
