Lorry driver arrested near Bridport after failing breath test
He was pulled over on the A35
A lorry driver has been arrested near Bridport for drink driving.
Police stopped the lorry last night on the A35.
The driver failed a road side breath test and was arrested.
He remains in custody and will be bailed to attend court at a later date.
A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said:
"Thankfully his actions didn't result in a serious or fatal accident. One of the Weymouth team was able to drive the lorry to a safe parking place thanks to having the correct entitlements on his licence which he gained in a previous career."
