A 90s dance icon, who headlined Sherborne's first ever Pride event, appears to have fallen in love with Dorset!

Janice Robinson, the former Livin' Joy singer famous for hits like 'Dreamer', appeared in the town last weekend (Sunday 7th July).

She's taken to social media to say how much she enjoyed being there, and that she'd like to live there!

She said on Instagram:

“My heart is filled with so much joy and excitement that this beautiful little rural village will be where I call home while on tour. I love it so much that I am looking for a small flat to call home this summer, it’s absolutely the most quaint little village ever with the loveliest people.

"It’s amazing the way life unfolds and brings you everything your heart desires.

“Sherborne Pride, it was truly an honour to be here and create a memory for everyone who is living their life authentically and proud. The LGBTQ+ community has been my biggest supporters throughout my entire career and I will forever be an ally.”
