Three paintings of lions have been stolen from an art gallery in Lyme Regis.

Police investigating a burglary at Studio 19 in Broad Street have shared images of the artworks, in the hope we can help to locate them.

The theft happened at sometime between Sunday 1st and Wednesday 4th December, with the details just released.

The paintings were taken last month, and we're asked to look out for them on local selling sites

Police Community Support Investigator Graeme Williams, of West Dorset police, said:

“An investigation is continuing into the incident and we are now in a position to release images of the stolen paintings.

“I would ask anyone who has seen these paintings for sale either online or locally in unusual circumstances to please get in touch.”

If you can help with any information, you're asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting reference number 55240185828.
