Coronavirus cases once again fell last week across the Dorset Council area.

There are currently no Covid-19 patients in Dorset hospitals.

Public Health Dorset are still urging anyone who comes into contact with others to still get a twice-weekly test.

It's to stop those without any symptoms spreading the virus further.

A statement on Public Health Dorset's website says:

"We encourage all adults to take part in twice-weekly rapid testing. This will help us keep cases low in Dorset by identifying and isolating people who have COVID-19 but aren't showing any symptoms.

"As life opens back up, this will prevent people from unknowingly spreading the virus to those they come into contact with.

"You can get assisted tests or collect kits at one of our community sites, pick kits up from a participating pharmacy, or order them online."

Public Health Dorset are also encouraging everyone to take up the offer of a vaccine when it's their turn.

They say:

"We are seeing increasing evidence on the effectiveness of the vaccine, and it is one of the best ways you can protect yourself and others.

"Over three quarters of a million doses have been given in Dorset already, so make sure you book yours when it's your turn and don't forget to attend your second appointment for maximum protection."
