Police are appealing for witnesses after laptops were stolen from a computer shop in Bournemouth.

Officers want to talk to the refuse collectors who were working outside of Bournemouth IT Solutions (BITS) in Old Christchurch Road at around 4.20am last Friday morning (6th September).

One of the computers was later found by officers in a nearby alleyway.

PC Zachary Dredge, of Bournemouth police, said:

“We understand that there were a number of refuse staff working outside the premises at the time that the man left, so I am keen to speak to them as well as any other witnesses who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area.

“If you live or were driving in the area at the time of the incident, I would ask you to please check any home CCTV or dashcam footage to see if you have captured anything that may assist our enquiries.”

If you can help with any information, you're asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting reference number 55240137436.
