Ten lambs have been stolen from a field in West Dorset, with police now investigating.

The animals were taken from the Broadoak area, north of Bridport, at some point between Wednesday and Friday last week (11th to 13th October).

Rural crime officers believe a vehicle was used to move the lambs, as tyre tracks have been found at the field's gate.

The stolen lambs are all 8 or 9 months old and of the Dorset breed.

It's also reported that neighbours heard a disturbance at around 2.30am on Friday 13th October, but nothing was seen.

There's now an appeal for information, with anyone who can help asked to call Dorset Police on 101.
