A large amount of jewellery's been stolen during a burglary at a home in Weymouth.

Thieves broke into a property on Belfield Park Avenue at some point between 4.10pm and 9.45pm on Saturday (8th April).

A gold bangle with a white diamond, a gold Benson watch, cufflinks, a silver chain necklace with watch face, a silver chain pendant necklace and a gold ring with a red stone were taken.

Two jewellery boxes are also missing.

A picture's been released of the bangle, in case anyone's seen it:

PC Liam Sutherland, of Weymouth police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please come forward.

“I would urge residents or motorists who were in the vicinity to please check their home CCTV or dashcams for any footage that may help my enquiries.

“Also, I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen the bracelet pictured or any of the items matching the descriptions given for sale locally in unusual circumstances.”
